How long before I can park on it?
7 days for foot traffic. 28 days for your car.
Concrete reaches ~70% of its design strength in 7 days — plenty for walking. But parking a 4,000-lb vehicle compresses the surface before the crystal matrix is fully locked. We wait the full 28-day cure before recommending any vehicle traffic. We'll leave you a laminated cure card.

What's the difference between stamped and brushed?
Texture, traction, and about $3–5 per square foot.
A broom finish drags a stiff brush across the surface right before final set — adds traction for outdoor slabs, costs nothing extra. Stamped concrete presses rubber mats into the wet surface to mimic stone, brick, or wood grain. It's beautiful, adds resale value, and requires sealing every 2–3 years. We do both.
Do I really need rebar?
For anything thicker than a sidewalk — yes.
Concrete is strong in compression but brittle in tension. Rebar (or wire mesh) handles the tension side when the ground shifts. A 4-inch garage slab without rebar will crack across the middle the first hard winter. We include rebar pricing in every garage, driveway, and foundation quote automatically.

Can you match my existing concrete color?
Within 2–3 shades — that's the honest answer.
New concrete is always lighter than aged concrete. We use integral pigments and acid stains to get close, but a perfect match on a 10-year-old slab is a promise nobody should make. We'll bring color samples to the site walk and show you exactly what to expect before we pour a yard.
